Von Miller Traded to the Los Angeles Rams

On The Way To LA': Broncos Trade Linebacker Von Miller To Los Angeles Rams – CBS Denver

The Denver Broncos 11 year veteran and super bowl 50 mvp Von Miller, has been traded to the Los Angeles Rams for two draft picks in the 2nd and 3rd round of this years NFL Draft. Von Miller for the Denver Broncos has been their biggest “it” factor, and probably the best draft pick the franchise has ever made. This trade is going to be beneficial for the LA Rams this season and with hopes that the Denver Broncos use their draft picks wisely, we will see if the two picks in the draft for the Broncos will be beneficial for the organization.

Drafting Von Miller back in 2010, proved himself as to being one of the best edge rushers in the league. Von’s play was recognized, which earned him plenty awards like Unanimous 2010s All-Decade team selection, 2011 DROY, 8x Pro Bowler, 7x All-pro and Super Bowl 50 MVP. All in which have earned Miller his 114.5 million dollar contract of 6 years with the Denver Broncos.

Although this is a sad trade to see go through being a Broncos fan, this is a trade that needed to happen for the Broncos organization and Von Miller. After starting the season 4-4 with the Broncos, with a rocky previous 5 years, Von is finding himself back in playoff contention with the Rams. The Los Angeles Rams acquired Matthew Stafford this past offseason to help the team get back in Super Bowl contentions and he has done a phenomenal job so far this season. Where Von’s 4-4 season just switched to a 7-1 season with the Rams.

For the defensive side of the ball Von will be joining All-pro pass rusher Aaron Donald and All-pro corner back Jalen Ramsey who both have made their presence felt in the NFL. The 3 of these All-pro defensive players on the same line might just take the Los Angeles Rams to the plays-offs and hopefully the Super Bowl for Von’s sake.
