The Broncos this past Sunday, found themselves in a hole with starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater leaving the game early suffering a concussion, along with a defeating score of 23-7 the Baltimore Ravens coming out on top. This leaves the Denver Broncos overall record of 3-1, not a bad record in the NFL. From last season to this season the injury bug continues to linger around the Denver Broncos facility may seem as we are looking for options.
Leaving the game early was not a good sign for Teddy, as he has been quite familiar with the feeling of dealing with an injury. A good chunk of Teddy Bridgewater career has been on the sideline due to a leg injury that started in Minnesota with the Vikings.
Despite Teddy Bridgewater’s career being a rocky one, going from the Vikings, to the Jets, to the Saints, then to the Panthers and now ultimately the Broncos due to his leg injury. Teddy this season has been able to reel in a few wins for the Broncos putting up solid numbers like 892 passing yards, 5 touchdowns, and a quarterback rating of 110.6 this season, the Broncos have believed to have found their solution for their quarterback problem.
Teddy has been limited in practice due to his concussion injury, as he will be splitting reps between Drew Lock in Thursday’s practice. Although, Teddy is on the NFL protocol list, head coach Vic Fangio plans for Teddy to be the starter in this week 5 match up against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hopefully we can see a healthy and recovered Teddy Bridgewater and get the win at Heinz Field.
