IMG Academy is a highly ranked high school across the nation that faced off against Bishop Sycamore on ESPN. IMG is a powerhouse when it comes to producing 4 and 5 star athletes, with the goal of sending each of their players to further their education and talents to power five collegiate football programs. Bishop Sycamore, the alleged fake high school, had explained ESPN they have players the same caliber which got them the national televised game.

Playing further into the game many questioned Bishop Sycamore legitimacy when IMG Academy began to do what they do best, racking up a total score of 58-0. During the game on ESPN players that Bishop Sycamore claimed to have big division 1 offers, were reportedly not on roster but yet playing in the game. Analysts during the game found that most of Bishop Sycamores players have already played at some sort of college level, with the players ages ranging from 24-30’s.
Many people began to question after the game, after all the pieces to the puzzle have connected, as to how did this fake high school pull off playing Nationally ranked high school IMG Academy on ESPN. The school reportedly gave an address to ESPN that was to a house in Ohio, and how did this school pass this off as a legitimate high school. Players that Bishop Sycamore claimed to have 4 and 5 star athletes, such as their starting quarterback Jailen Knight who was reportedly a graduate of class of 2021 on hudl. Knights hudl account also had him listed on roster for another school.
Bishop Sycamore, reported that after the loss to IMG Academy they mutually parted ways with their head coach to defend the high school in what was humiliating on nationally televised tv.
The controversy of how Bishop Sycamore got this game against IMG Academy was only the start, as for the rest of Bishop Sycamore’s 2021 schedule, has more power house high school football teams. Although, some school from Texas have already canceled the game against Bishop Sycamore as this may arise liability issues for the players.
